Homemade Sugar Scrub
This homemade sugar scrub is made with just three ingredients that you likely already have on hand (way better than buying very specific body products). You can keep a small jar by the kitchen sink for hands, or a larger jar in the bathroom for a full-body scrub.
INGREDIENTS
sugar
coconut oil, just melted
essential oils
jar
METHOD
Combine sugar, melted coconut oil, and a few drops of essential oils in a medium bowl. Scoop a dollop into your palm and gently rub over damp skin. Rinse with just water if you want to retain more moisture or cleanse with a light soap.
Essential Oils
You can use whatever essential oils you have on hand. I tend to love grapefruit, jasmine, tea tree, and ylang-ylang. You can buy essential oils at Whole Foods and most health food stores.
