Peanut butter dog treats
Diet: this is for dogs • Servings: 12 • Cost per serving: $1
INGREDIENTS
1 c whole wheat flour
1/2 c peanut butter
1/4 c mashed banana
1/4 c chicken broth
DIRECTIONS
Prepare in 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, peanut butter and banana in a mixing bowl. Add stock and mix until well-combined (I just used my hands) and press into a ball. The dough will be thick.
Place dough on a flat service (with a sprinkle of flour if needed) and roll out evenly with a rolling pin. Dough should be about 1/4 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter (or a knife) to cut the dough and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Store in an airtight container.
I love other people’s dogs! To get them to love me back I start things off with a homemade, organic dog treat.
If you don’t have a bone shaped cookie cutter, just cut them into rectangles and pinch them between your fingers to give them some shape.
