Homemade cranberry sauce
VEGAN / SERVES: 6-8
INGREDIENTS
12 ounce bag of fresh cranberries, set a handful aside
juice from one orange
3/4 cup of sugar
METHOD
In a medium pot, gently simmer most of the cranberries, orange juice, and sugar until most of the cranberries have popped. Towards the end, add in the remaining fresh cranberries to give your sauce more texture.
Cranberry sauce is not something I recommend buying pre-made. That said, it’s super simple to make and can be prepared the day before.
I love cranberry sauce on more than just turkey! It’s great on morning toast and served with cheese and crackers as an appetizer.
